Karina Oms was born and raised in Miami, Florida. In 2017 she graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a minor in English. Prior to law school she clerked for the Honorable Judge Nina Ashenafi-Richardson and was a Gubernatorial Fellow in the Executive Office of the Governor in Tallahassee, Florida. In 2018, she began studying law at the University of Miami School of law and is currently in her second year of law school. She is the Junior Articles and Comments Editor, and upcoming Events Editor of the International and Comparative Law Review.
